Yegor Makhiboroda escaped the collapse of the Soviet Union and arrived in America at the age of 8.
Despite speaking no english and enduring bullying and isolation, he promised himself that he would excel in his new country.
He was snapped up for a prestigious role by a Fortune 50 company right out of college where he found success but felt deeply unfulfilled.
He left the security of his job and joined the Peace Corps, spending two years living on one of the most isolated islands in the world and learning first-hand what leads to true happiness.
